When the door is opened, the movement drives a gear that pushes a piston to compress a spring, while hydraulic fluid flows within the chamber to store energy. Once the opening action concludes, the spring releases its stored potential energy. The hydraulic fluid then flows back slowly through a throttle valve, controlling the closing speed and ensuring a smooth, cushioned motion.
